With the intermediate round over the final showdown between the top two players has taken place in the expert round in a best three our of five challenges. The results are in and here they are. Thank you very much for everyone who played this season and we’ll be looking at creating a great experience for next season.

On August 8th, 2015 Sebastien took on the four challenges of the Old-Schooled Intermediate round. Here’s how he did.
Sebastien came in and gave it his all on his run, but the convoluted paths in Metroid and the difficulty of the other challenges proved to much for him, putting an end to his Old-Schooled hopes for this season. Since this is my own run I won’t comment on it other than to say I was incredibly happy to have beaten the Stage 5 boss with so little time on the clock. The twitch video of the run can be viewed by clicking the date link above.
On June 6th 2015 Macrus took on the four challenges of the Old-Schooled Intermediate round. Here’s how he did.
Marcus showed a good performance in Metal Storm and was very adept on the Speeder Bikes in Stage 3 of Battletoads but sadly crashed out just sort of completing it. He also did well with Contra though he struggled with Metroid in the last part of the trial.

Tim’s best performance of the day was Legend of Zelda where he scored a second place time. Unfortunately his second place scoring alone wasn’t enough to bring him into the next round and he was elimated this round.

Marcus’ top performance this round was Star Force where he scored first place out of all the players, securing him a spot in the next round.
On December 29th, 2014 Josh Davis logged his trial for Season 1 of the Old-Schooled League at ThatGameStore when he took on the four challenges for the Beginner round. Here’s how he did.
Josh Davis pulled through with a performance that was good enough to bring him into the next round by tying for second in Sonic and Knuckles and getting a third place score in Ms. Pac-Man.
